With more than 25 years of adoption experience, here’s why birth mothers choose Michael Shorstein and his firm:

  • Financial and living assistance: You’ll receive help with living expenses (including housing, meals, clothes, cell phone, transportation and other items if needed)—all at no cost to you.
  • Medical: We engage a third party agency to ensure you qualify for Medicaid, which pays for all birth expenses. Any uncovered expenses are paid by the adoptive parents.
  • Counseling: You can count on confidential and personal assistance from board certified adoption attorneys, female advisors and counselors, plus full support systems for family and friends who may need help accepting your adoption decision.
  • Responsiveness: When you need us, we’re here for you.
  • Caring: Michael and his team are truly kind, compassionate and concerned for you and your baby. Experience it for yourself.
  • Confidentiality: Your privacy is of the utmost importance. The information you provide to us stays between us.
  • Experience: Since 1992, Michael has successfully helped more than 2,500 birth mothers and adoptive parents. As a board certified adoption attorney, he can help you take full advantage of all the protections the law allows. While there are many good adoption agencies licensed by the state, they may not have as much experience as an attorney focused solely on adoption law.
  • Location: With offices in Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, you get personalized service that’s convenient for you. You’ll also have access to local social workers, doctors, hospitals and other professionals.
